Biography

Professor Dr. Kazi Saifuddin is a senior Bangladeshi psychologist and academic leader with long experience in teaching, research, and university administration. He is the Founder Vice Chancellor of Pirojpur Science and Technology University and a Professor (Grade I) in the Department of Psychology at Jagannath University, Dhaka.

He completed his PhD at Kobe University, Japan, and later carried out postdoctoral research at Cambridge University and Lancaster University in the UK. His academic background reflects strong international exposure and advanced research training.

His research interests cover time perception, auditory perception, environmental and health psychology, mental health, terrorism studies, and noise pollution. He has led many nationally funded research projects and has supervised several PhD and postgraduate researchers.

Dr. Saifuddin has published widely in reputed journals and has authored and edited numerous academic books in both English and Bengali. Alongside research and teaching, he has served in key administrative and editorial roles, contributing significantly to higher education and psychological research in Bangladesh.
